How Khloe Kardashian “Let Down” Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner Amid Tristan Thompson Scandal

The Good American founder revisited the fallout from her ex Tristan Thompson‘s 2018 cheating scandal—when she found out he was unfaithful days before she gave birth to their first baby together, daughter True Thompsonwho recently turned 7.

“I think the worst part of that experience was how much I let down my younger sisters,” Khloe said about Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner on the April 16 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, “’cause I remember they were like, ‘He’s gonna do this again. Don’t stay with him.’ I don’t know exactly what was said, but I just remember sort of the disappointment in them.”

Kendall and Kylie were correct. Most recently in December 2021, while Khloe was quietly planning to welcome son Tatum Thompson with Tristan via surrogate, she learned the NBA star had fathered a child with another woman, Maralee Nichols, who gave birth that month to his son Theo, now 3.

For older sister Khloe, she shared her regrets about her relationship with Tristan amid his 2018 cheating scandal, which she learned about two days after she gave birth to their daughter True.

“I think the worst part of that experience was how much I let my younger sisters down because I remember they were like, ‘He’s going to do this again. Don’t stay with him,’” she said of Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. “I remember the disappointment in them. They would never say that to me and they’ve never said that to me, but I’ve always felt how much I’ve disappointed them by staying and doing that again.”

“I still feel really horrible about that because I’ve always been this big sister to them,” she added. “Maybe the second one hurt more because I lived with it for so much longer and maybe I’ve had more shame with the second scandal because I sort of knew it was gonna happen again.”

Looking back at her decision, the 40-year-old, who welcomed son Tatum with Tristan in 2022, admitted that she “buried my head in the sand” with the first scandal.

“I just wanted to have this bliss that I always dream of and have a brand new baby and have the daddy here,” she explained. “When you’ve never been in that position, it’s really easy to judge and to say things. ”

In December 2021, as Khloe and Tristan began their surrogacy journey to welcome Tatum, the NBA player fathered son Theo, 3, with Maralee Nichols. He and Khloe ultimately split for good in 2022.

Fat loss exercises should respect female physiology - our bodies respond differently to training than men's. The most effective regimen combines strength training, metabolic conditioning, and recovery. This trio addresses hormonal balance, preserves lean muscle (crucial for maintaining metabolism), and creates the coveted "afterburn effect" where you continue burning calories post-workout. Compound strength movements deliver the most bang for your buck. Squats engage the body's largest muscle groups (glutes, quads, hamstrings), triggering significant calorie expenditure. Focus on form: feet shoulder-width apart, weight in heels, lowering until thighs parallel to floor. Deadlifts work the posterior chain - the powerhouse muscles of your backside. Start with light dumbbells, hinging at hips while keeping back flat. Push-ups (modified on knees if needed) build upper body strength while engaging the core. Aim for 2-3 strength sessions weekly, gradually increasing weight as movements feel easier. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) torches fat efficiently. A 20-minute session alternating between 30 seconds maximum effort (burpees, jump squats, mountain climbers) and 30 seconds recovery burns more calories than steady-state cardio. The intense bursts create excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), keeping your metabolism elevated for up to 48 hours. Limit HIIT to 3-4 sessions weekly to prevent adrenal fatigue. Don't underestimate low-intensity steady-state (LISS) cardio. Walking at an incline, cycling, or swimming at a moderate pace for 45-60 minutes taps into fat stores as fuel. This gentle approach is sustainable long-term and aids recovery between intense workouts. Many women find morning fasted LISS (after drinking water but before eating) particularly effective for fat burning. Core work should be functional rather than endless crunches. Plank variations (standard, side, with shoulder taps) build deep abdominal strength while protecting your back. Bird-dogs (alternating arm/leg extensions while on hands and knees) improve stability. These exercises create the lean, strong look many desire without bulking. Recovery is non-negotiable. Yoga or Pilates 1-2 times weekly improves flexibility and prevents injury. Foam rolling after workouts reduces muscle soreness by breaking up adhesions. Schedule at least one complete rest day - this is when muscles repair and grow stronger. Consistency trumps intensity every time. Find activities you enjoy - dance classes, hiking, or kickboxing - because you'll stick with what feels good. Over 6-8 weeks, this balanced approach reshapes your body composition far more effectively than cardio alone or extreme programs.
