How Khloe Kardashian “Let Down” Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner Amid Tristan Thompson Scandal

The Good American founder revisited the fallout from her ex Tristan Thompson‘s 2018 cheating scandal—when she found out he was unfaithful days before she gave birth to their first baby together, daughter True Thompsonwho recently turned 7.

“I think the worst part of that experience was how much I let down my younger sisters,” Khloe said about Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner on the April 16 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, “’cause I remember they were like, ‘He’s gonna do this again. Don’t stay with him.’ I don’t know exactly what was said, but I just remember sort of the disappointment in them.”

Kendall and Kylie were correct. Most recently in December 2021, while Khloe was quietly planning to welcome son Tatum Thompson with Tristan via surrogate, she learned the NBA star had fathered a child with another woman, Maralee Nichols, who gave birth that month to his son Theo, now 3.

For older sister Khloe, she shared her regrets about her relationship with Tristan amid his 2018 cheating scandal, which she learned about two days after she gave birth to their daughter True.

“I think the worst part of that experience was how much I let my younger sisters down because I remember they were like, ‘He’s going to do this again. Don’t stay with him,’” she said of Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. “I remember the disappointment in them. They would never say that to me and they’ve never said that to me, but I’ve always felt how much I’ve disappointed them by staying and doing that again.”

“I still feel really horrible about that because I’ve always been this big sister to them,” she added. “Maybe the second one hurt more because I lived with it for so much longer and maybe I’ve had more shame with the second scandal because I sort of knew it was gonna happen again.”

Looking back at her decision, the 40-year-old, who welcomed son Tatum with Tristan in 2022, admitted that she “buried my head in the sand” with the first scandal.

“I just wanted to have this bliss that I always dream of and have a brand new baby and have the daddy here,” she explained. “When you’ve never been in that position, it’s really easy to judge and to say things. ”

In December 2021, as Khloe and Tristan began their surrogacy journey to welcome Tatum, the NBA player fathered son Theo, 3, with Maralee Nichols. He and Khloe ultimately split for good in 2022.

While yoga may not burn calories as rapidly as high-intensity workouts, certain dynamic styles and poses create a powerful metabolic effect that supports sustainable weight loss. The secret lies in yoga's unique ability to combine physical challenge with stress reduction - addressing both the physiological and emotional aspects of weight management. Vinyasa or Power Yoga stands out for calorie expenditure, with a 150-pound woman burning 300-450 calories in a vigorous 60-minute session. The constant flow from pose to pose maintains an elevated heart rate while building lean muscle. Key fat-burning poses include: Chaturanga Dandasana (Low Plank): This full-body strengthener engages your core, arms, and legs simultaneously. Moving through Chaturanga as part of a Sun Salutation sequence creates a strength-building rhythm that boosts metabolism. Utkatasana (Chair Pose): Often called "lightning in the bones," this thigh-burner activates major muscle groups. Holding for 30-60 seconds while breathing deeply can elevate your heart rate into the fat-burning zone. Virabhadrasana III (Warrior 3): This balancing pose recruits stabilizing muscles throughout your body, increasing calorie burn while improving posture. The more muscles engaged, the greater the metabolic impact. Twisting Poses (Ardha Matsyendrasana): These wring out internal organs, stimulating digestion and detoxification. Twists also engage the oblique muscles for core definition. For maximum weight loss benefits, combine these poses in flowing sequences rather than static holds. A well-designed yoga practice also lowers cortisol levels - high cortisol promotes abdominal fat storage. The mindfulness cultivated through yoga often translates to better eating habits off the mat, creating a powerful synergy for weight management.
